Important steps

Several important steps have been taken since the C2C® ExpoLAB Foundation was established in October 2010. For example, they have recently reached an agreement with the University of Twente (UT) with respect to the Cradle to Cradle^® Design chair. Professor Michael Braungart helps students in this field put their theoretical knowledge into practice in companies and projects in the Limburg region. Also, the partnership with the Environmental Protection and Encouragement Agency (EPEA) is a fact. The projects portfolio has expanded hugely since the C2C® ExpoLAB Foundation was established, now also allowing access via Venlo and the C2C® ExpoLAB to international experiences originating from the Benelux, Germany, France and England. Much effort is currently being put into setting up a range of educational programmes in Cradle to Cradle^® in Venlo together with Fontys Hogescholen (Universities of Applied Sciences), ROC Gilde Opleidingen (Regional Education Centre for Professional Training), Cita Verde College (Academy) and OGVO (Educational Community Venlo and Surrounding Area).
