The C2C® ExpoLAB is sponsoring the chair of learning in C2C® Design at the University of Twente. Students following a master's course at this chair of learning are doing work experience at companies or projects in Limburg and the Eindhoven region. Companies and projects in these regions are frontrunners when it comes to implementing the principles of C2C® in products, projects and processes. For students that offers excellent opportunities to apply knowhow in C2C® design and other C2C®-related courses in day-to-day practice.
For that reason, the C2C® ExpoLAB has set up an education desk where both students and companies in these regions can register. The desk is suitable for students on MBO, HBO, and university courses. Companies can use this channel to share 'C2C®-challenges' and assignments they have, for which they want to deploy students. The students look on the page at what challenge or assignment is the most interesting for them and seek contact with the company concerned. This creates a nice platform where supply and demand can meet and C2C® ExpoLAB makes sure that supply and demand in terms of work experience placements meet up in a low-threshold manner at one spot.
Do you have a work experience assignment for a student? Register it with Eva Starmans of the C2C® ExpoLAB, e-mail educationdesk@c2cexpolab.eu or call +31 (0)77 396 80 07
Companies that want to use students to work on an assignment or dilemma can fill in the "Interested companies" form. Based on that form with a rough description of what the company has in mind, what it expects, what it wants to work on and what value that has for the company, an initial conversation is planned.
In that conversation, the "Interested companies" form is translated into a challenge and the company and C2C® ExpoLAB also make agreements on the availability of the report as a whole or elements of it (at least the challenge) in the KDC. Once the company and C2C® ExpoLAB have agreed on the wording of the challenge, C2C® ExpoLAB places it on its site. As soon as the company and a student have agreed to work together, the status changes to work in progress, and upon completion of the challenge into completed challenge. Per company one can see how many challenges are on offer, in progress and completed.
